Seeking a connection...
Church isn't just about coming together on a Sunday morning, singing a few songs, and then retreating back into your own world for another week. At least, it shouldn't be. We are called to be a body of followers that fellowships with one another:
I John 1:7--but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
Life groups are a way to make that fellowship happen. During the week, life groups meet--some at the church, some in the homes of church members--and decide what they will do to spend their time. Maybe discussing the week's sermon; maybe reading a book together; maybe viewing a Christian video series; maybe just sharing prayer requests and praying for one another. But the central goal of each group is connection. God wants us to connect with other believers, to worship with them, to support them, to learn about Him with them.
